Budureasca wines have won over 300 medals at international competitions such as Modial Bruxelles, Decanter and IWSC. Their Vine In Flames range was created exclusively for the international market and focuses on highly characterful varietal wines. This Pinot Noir uses grapes that are de-stemmed, but not crushed before 3 days of cold soaking and fermentation for 8 to 10 days.
This retains very fruity characteristics for an easily quaffable Pinot Noir. Deep ruby in appearance with aromas of fresh cherry, blackcurrant and subtle spice. The palate brings robust flavours of black cherry balancing well with its fine texture and lovely soft tannins. Try with duck breast à l’orange, roast goose and turkey or grilled mushrooms.
Budureasca has deep roots in the history of vine cultivation and embrace the ancient history of vine cultivation and winemaking in the sunny rolling hills of the Dealu Mare region of Romania. They strongly believe in the principles of sustainable development and continue to improve their protection of the environment. This includes the use of biological plant protection products, alternative control options for diseases and pests, and the almost complete reduction of the use of herbicides.
