Familia Traversa hand harvest their grapes from the area of Paso Cuello in Canelones, Uruguay, an area known for its highly calcareous soils. This wine is made from 85% Albariño and 15% Chardonnay grapes which are grown across high hills and slopes.
Vina Salort Albariño has the classic Albariño aromas. Herbal notes intertwined with stone fruits and citrus. On the palate it’s textual and rounded with rich, flavoursome fruit cut with refreshing acidity. Try withwhite fish tacos, seafood salad, burrata or feta, chicken salad, padrón peppers or grilled vegetable dishes.
