This refined Pinot Noir produced by Villa Wolf is fermented in stainless steel. Half of the cuvée is matured for 12-15 months in used oak barrels to add depth and complexity; half in stainless steel to preserve freshness.
This Pinot Noir is warm and medium-bodied, with a firm acid structure. Bright black-cherry fruit that’s juicy, ripe, and forward leading to a spicy mid-palate. Twelve months of aging in used barriques gives the wine a smoky depth and an elegant touch of earthy tannins.Try with charcuterie, ham, herby lamb or roasted vegetables.
