A Vintage Late Harvest sweet wine from Douro, My Little Sweet Rola allows winemaker Ana Rola to perfectly express the freshness of the Portuguese region. Codega de Larinho, Gouveio, Rabigato and Viosinho grapes are harvested in early November, before cool fermentation and ageing for 6 months in oak barrels.
A scrumptious wine of light lemon appearance, the nose brings touches of white flowers and orange peel. The elegant palate reveals freshness, minerality, beautiful acidity, and well integrated white fruit, apricots and orange peel for roundness. Try with desserts such as creme brulee, eton mess, zesty lemon cakes/cheesecakes, fruit and nut pastries, or creamy cheeses.
Ana Rola is a truly contemporary winemaker. Working from her base at Quinta de Remostias in the heart of the Douro Valley, she aims to create true, honest wines that really reflect where they come from. Grapes are sourced from specific vineyards with minimal intervention and all are vegan and low sulphur.
