Progreso Malbec Syrah

This Argentinian blend of Malbec and Syrah is produced by Estancia Mendoza, a federation of wine producing co-operatives founded in the region in 1980. They join together to create true synergy and the best expertise in the wine making process, from agricultural practice to modern vinification. 

Bright red in appearance, Progreso is an unoaked wine that shows a nose of plum and cherry with a hint of black pepper. Sweet entry on the palate with further spice, red fruits and a touch of smoke on the long finish. Try with beef stew, roast lamb, moussaka, roasted peppers or blue cheeses.
