Ontanon Kaori Rioja Blanco

A new look and name for what was previously known as Akemi Rioja Blanco, but it’s still got the same delicious aromas and taste. Subtle oaking of the finest grapes brings a complexity and tropical element to the mineral refreshment and floral notes of this grape. 

Straw yellow in colour, Akemi shows layered aromas of ripe tropical fruit, soft grapefruit, subtle pepper and blossom hints. The textured and creamy palate is packed with tropical fruit with a satisfyingly refreshing mineral undercurrent and vanilla on the finish. Try with East Asian curries, Japanese cuisine such as sushi and sashimi, or spicy noodle dishes.
