An honest expression of the Tempranillo grape variety, this Muriel Crianza is aged in oak barrels where it remains for 12 months. Once the ageing process is complete, the wine is bottled where it acquires complexity and roundness.
Bright cherry in colour with aromas of vanilla, cocoa and coffee. Perfectly combined with red fruit notes and liquorice. Broad and elegant on the palate with soft tannins. Try with tapas, cured meats, roasted lamb, burgers, barbecued meats or lightly smoked cheese.
Bodegas Muriel was founded in 1926 by José Murúa Villaverde. His son, Julián Murúa decided to resume the work his father had started and re-established the winemaking activity with Muriel in 1986. This marked the beginning of the second stage of an exciting project. Today, the winery has the strength of experience and the vision of its current managers, Julián Murúa and his son, Javier Murúa.
