The Indomita Nostros range highlights the best of their premium Gran Reserva wines. For their Viognier, grapes are harvested from Santa Carla Vineyards in the southern Bio Bio Valley of Chile, not far from the coast. Loam soils and a cool climate create fresh grapes, with 20 days’ fermentation in stainless steel, and further ageing in stainless steel before bottling.
This creates a wine of delicate light yellow appearance with clean, elegant and typical Viognier aromatic notes, highlighting citrus notes and flowers. In the mouth it is well balanced and fresh with plenty of volume and density on the tropical fruit finish. Try with flavourful appetisers, light main dishes, chicken salad or grilled fish.
