Baglio Gibellina’s Sicilian Grillo hand harvests grapes from hillside vineyards of sandy soils with vinification in small stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Further maturation occurs in small stainless steel tanks with battonage for the first month of refining.
Named ‘Sogno del Sud’ (Dream of the South), this delightful wine is straw yellow in colour with an intense, pleasant nose of exotic fruit and spice. Fresh and soft on the palate, it is well balanced with a persistent aftertaste. Try with fish dishes such as smoked salmon, tuna or swordfish, roast chicken or goats cheese.

Baglio Gibellina is situated in picturesque Sicily where its vineyards are surrounded by the hills of Salemi and Santa Ninfa. Old vineyards located between 300-600m above sea level are grown on a mixture of clay and volcanic soils with limited yields allowing for the production of outstanding wines with incredible food matching potential.
