Gibellina Incanto del Sud Frappato

Baglio Gibellina’s Sicilian Frappato harvests grapes at the peak of maturity from vineyards of sandy soils at 200 – 250 metres above sea level.  Traditional red wine maceration in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature with no oak ageing. 

Named ‘Incanto del Sud’ (Enchantment of the South), this wine is a beautiful ruby red colour lined with purple hues. The bouquet has a pleasant fresh fruit fragrance, whilst the palate brings more fresh red fruits for a lively yet soft taste. Try with hard sheep’s milk cheeses, charcuterie, salami pasta or pizza.

Baglio Gibellina is situated in picturesque Sicily where its vineyards are surrounded by the hills of Salemi and Santa Ninfa. Old vineyards located between 300-600m above sea level are grown on a mixture of clay and volcanic soils with limited yields allowing for the production of outstanding wines with incredible food matching potential.
