Doppler Winery Zeleni Silvanec

This refreshing wine from Doppler Winery is fermented in stainless steel tanks. It’s then aged on fine lees for 5 months before bottling. 

A gentle lemon colour with light green hues. On the nose you’ll find fresh herbs of thyme and sage with a hint of green pepper. The palate has notes of gooseberry coupled with fresh green apple and lemon. Try with seafood or fried fish.

The Doppler Winery is onto its 3rd generation and is situated in the ‘up-and-coming’ Styria wine-growing region in the north eastern end of Slovenia, 360 metres above sea level. They are a leading producer in the new and exciting scene full of orange wine, pét-nat and other low intervention styles.Their philosophy of dedicating their efforts to preserving nature and upholding tradition have continued.
