A wonderfully aromatic dry white wine from the Aragon region of Spain, Delincuente is made by the area’s leading co-operative of winemakers (Bodegas Borsao), dedicated to creating fantastic wines with reasonable prices. Macabeo (Viura) grapes are picked from the shingle slopes of vineyards located 400-500m altitude, with fermentation in stainless steel.
Lemon with green tones in appearance, this wine brings hints of white peach and spring flowers on the nose, with a textured peach element on the palate providing a delightful more-ish character. Creamy and fresh, flavours sit in perfect harmony with the acidity. Try with a range of seafood dishes, particularly Paella, fruity salsas or goats cheese.
Macabeo is one of the most popular white grapes in northern Spain – high yielding with large bunches that are still compact and retain excellent body and colour. A popular go-to grape for light food pairing or as a refreshing wine to share with friends.
