Chateau Purcari Freedom Blend

This unique Freedom Blend from Moldova’s Chateau Purcari blends Georgia’s Saperavi, Moldova’s Rara Neagra, and Ukraine’s Bastardo grapes to create an expression that is full of character. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrique, it has the heart of Georgia, the terroir of Moldova, and the free spirit of Ukraine.

Freedom shows an intense ruby colour with almond accents. The complex bouquet is dominated by cherry, blackberry and currant, complemented by dried plum, red pepper, and savoury notes of moist wood and leather. The full and fruity taste captures elegance and refinement, providing a velvet aftertaste. Try with red meat, antipasti platters with feta cheese, or dark chocolate desserts.
