Calusari Pinot Rose

The Calusari range of wines from Cramele Recas are created to be fresh, fruity and extremely approachable – a taste of modern Romania.After selection, the Pinot Noir grapes are de-stalked, crushed, and the must including skins, is cooled. After maceration the crushed grape mass is softly pressed. One hundred percent Pinot Noir grapes are pressed with just the right amount of contact with their skins to give it its delightful colour and character. The grapes are then processed in the tried-and-true ways of the best white wines in controlled temperatures.

Delicate pink in colour, the nose on this wine is full of summer fruit aroma’s with strawberries, blueberries and raspberries at the forefront. The palate is light, crisp and refreshing with notes of raspberries and cranberries. Ideally served chilled on a sunny terrace with friends. Try with grilled fish, seafood, grilled chicken or greek salad.

Cramele Recas is a premium wine estate located on the far western fringes of the Romanian region of Transylvania/Banat. All the fruit is selected from their own estate and bottled in their state of the art winery. Their wines are modern and fruit driven and express perfectly the traditions and terroir of the region, where wine has been produced since the 1st century A.D.
