Sitting in the heart of the Dealu Mare region with its sunny rolling hills, their wine ranges are renowned for quality. Most famous is their Premium Feteasca Neagra that uses old vine grapes (30 years old), matured for up to 6 months in oak barrels.
Dark purple in appearance with great aromas of intense ripe cherry and forest fruits. The palate is full and jammy with cherry and ripe red fruit before warming spice on the finish. Well-rounded with soft, velvety tannins, and excellent bottle-ageing potential. Try with beef, pork, or flavourful dishes with garlic or ginger such as Chinese steamed buns, stir fry, or noodles.
Budureasca has deep roots in the history of vine cultivation and embrace the ancient history of vine cultivation and winemaking in the Dealu Mare region of Romania.
