This exceptional Spanish red wine is a blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha and Graciano. Aged in a combination of American and French oak. It was created especially for Rioja award-winning chef Felix Jimenez for his Japanese/Riojan fusion dishes.This was a follow up to the Rioja Blanco release, and the ethos of these wines is Akemi, which in Japanese means bright and beautiful.
Aromas of floral notes with a silky smooth palate. Notes of soft red berry fruits with vanilla and spice from the oak. This leads to a long yet delicate finish. Try withteppanyaki, spicy beef, sushi, or roasted lamb and mint sauce.
