Adega Guimaraes co-operative support over 250 winegrowers in the Vinho Verde region of Portugal, helping them bring the finest grapes for their wines. An area known for producing light, refreshing wines with lots of floral and green fruit notes, This example blends hand harvested Loureiro, Trajadura and Arinto grapes.
Gentle crushing, soft skin maceration and controlled fermentation temperatures results in a naturally aromatic, fresh wine. Green apple and citrus fruit sit at the fore of the bouquet and flavours, with refreshingly crisp taste and a hint of fizz. Try with seafood, sushi, spiced fish and vegetable dishes, or goats cheese.
Founded in 1962 by 82 visionary winegrowers, Adega Guimaraes used its expertise as a co-operative to support winegrowers and winemakers across the region, resulting in some of the finest wines being released today.
